Dear Salisbury Elementary Families, Happy New Year! We hope you enjoyed a restful holiday season filled with special moments, time with loved ones, and the joy of Christmas, for those who celebrate. As we begin 2026, we are looking forward to welcoming our students back and settling into the comfort of familiar routines, procedures, and learning together. 🌟 Getting Back into the Groove Over the coming weeks, our focus at school will be on getting back into the groove by revisiting expectations and reinforcing positive behaviours across all settings. We will be spending intentional time reviewing our ABCDs with students: These shared expectations help create a safe, caring, and predictable learning environment for everyone. Your support at home in talking about the ABCDs and what they look like in daily school life makes a big difference and is greatly appreciated. As part of this reset, we are also placing an emphasis on on-time arrival. Students are expected to arrive at school prior to 8:25 a.m. for O Canada, as learning begins immediately afterward. Even arriving 10–15 minutes late can impact a student’s learning and the flow of learning for others in the classroom. Good morning! Due to the one hour bus delay this morning, the Winter Wonderland concert times are being adjusted. New times are as follows: 10am (Choir, K Landry, K Martin, K Singer, K-1 MacDonald) 11:30am (Choir, 1 Saunders, 1 Smith, 2 Gallagher, 3-4 Morrissey, 4 Colford/Landry, 4 Pitre) 1pm (Choir, 1-2 Mullin, 2 Whittier, 2 Hicks, 3 Colpitts, 3 Guadarrama, 3-4 Killam)  Hope to see you there!
