Dear Families, What a fantastic second week of school it has been at Salisbury Elementary! Our halls are buzzing with energy, and our Cubs are already showing great progress and excitement for the year ahead. With appreciation,Denise Zwicker, PrincipalAngela Hoogendyk, Vice-Principal P.S- Our Cubs were taught this week that an octopus has three hearts, you can continue the learning at home by adding that: two hearts pumps blood to the gills, and one pumps blood to the rest of the body. P.P.S- for a bit of enrichment – octopus also have mini brains in each of their tentacles that are overseen by a larger central brain.
As we prepare to head back to school in just a couple of weeks, here is a reminder about school supplies for the 2025-2026 school year. Kindergarten – school supply fee of $50 (SchoolCash Online) Grade One and Two English – school supplies are purchased by families Grade One and Two Immersion – school supply fee of $50 (SchoolCash Online) Grade Three and Four English – school supply fee of $50 (School Cash Online) Grade Three and Four Immersion – school supplies are purchased by families (list attached)
